Lillian 'Lily' Sheehan
Office Manager

Lily was born and raised in Tampa, Florida and moved to Murrells Inlet in 2013. Lily has been in the medical/dental field for over 30 years. Family is the center of Lily’s world, and she cherishes every moment spent with her five grandchildren delighting in their laughter and creating memories. Lily enjoys weekend adventures traveling with her husband or spending the day at the beach.

Audrey Barnes
Administrative Assistant

Audrey was born and raised in the heart of the Adirondack Mountains. She worked for NYS for almost 40 years, retired and moved to the warmer Myrtle Beach climate. She came to work with us in 2021 and is relied upon for many different administrative tasks within the office. Some of Audrey’s greatest joys are spending time with her family and friends, motorcycling, beach days, music, gardening and travelling.

Leslie Armstrong
Insurance Manager

Leslie has over 25 years of experience in the dental front office field ranging from answering phones to managing offices. She is the insurance manager at Laser Periodontics and her primary focus is to help patients with their insurance questions, file their insurance and act as their advocate.
Leslie has been with Laser Periodontics for 2 years and is proud to call Laser Perio her work home and family!
Leslie has three amazing children who are now young adults. They are her heart! She has a Shih Tzu, Mitzi and a very lovable cat, Marissa! In her free time, Leslie enjoys tap dancing, walking on the beach and being active in her church.

Dawn Stewart
Insurance Assistant

Dawn brings over 30 years of dental experience to our team, specializing in dental insurance. Dawn has extensive knowledge of dental insurance plans and excels in processing claims accurately and helping patients navigate complex dental claims.

When Dawn is not working she enjoys spending time with her family and going to the beach

Misty McCoy
Patient Coordinator

Misty has worked in the dental/medical field for over 15 years with a wealth of experience in reception and customer service areas. Misty joined Laser Periodontics in May, 2025 and brings enthusiasm and efficiency to our front desk operations.

In Misty’s spare time, she loves spending time with her family and friends and going to Church.

Telma Lana
Dental Hygienist

Telma is a skilled and compassionate Dental Hygienist who brings over 18 years of experience to our team. Born in Brazil and making her mark in the US since 1999. Telma’s commitment to oral health shines through every interaction.
Telma lived in Massachusetts prior to moving to South Carolina having her Associate degree in Science at Middlesex Community College in Lowell, MA. Her education and experience have equipped her with a profound understanding of oral health and hygiene, enabling her to provide excellent care to our valued patients.
Telma’s gentle approach and meticulous attention to detail set the stage for a comfortable and effective dental experience.

Brandi Hans
Dental Assistant

Brandi was born and raised in Illinois and moved to South Carolina in 2015.
Brandi completed the Dental Assisting Program at John A. Logan Community College and has worked in the field 20 plus years. She is certified to administer nitrous, x rays and CBCT scans.
Brandi especially enjoys spending time with her husband, two daughters and granddaughter and watching her youngest daughter play softball.

Kyra Lee
Dental Assistant

Kyra received her certificate from Horry Georgetown Technical College and have been in the perio field for 20+ years. I work alongside the periodontist to assist in both periodontal treatments and dental implant procedures. I enjoy talking to patients and helping them feel comfortable throughout their entire treatment process.
In Kyra’s spare time, she likes going to church, going to the gym, reading books and spending time with friends.

Claire Macion
Dental Assistant

Claire brings an extensive knowledge of dentistry to the Laser Periodontics team. She has worked in general dentistry, endodontics dental care and now periodontal dental care and has been a Dental Assistant for four (4) years. Claire enjoys talking to patients and helping them feel comfortable throughout the treatment process and states “the best part of my job is seeing how happy the patient is with their results!”

When Claire is not working she enjoys traveling, going to the gym and spending time with her friends.

Cooper
Service Dog, Security Officer and Agent for high morale

"Cooper is so mellow and he loves kids," says Neda Azadivatian, Kamran's mom. Neda not only attended Team Training but she commuted - taking Cooper home with her. This arrangement allowed nine year old Kamran to already overcome his innate fear of dogs -a fear that had made them cross the street if he even saw a pooch. Service Dog Cooper will help Kamran with his listening skills, calm his behaviour when tantrums loom, and be an icebreaker with the other kids at school.
